FAQS

  • G4Volleyball is a beginner-friendly volleyball club, established by Jacob Evans, who brings his experience as both a teacher and a coach to the organization. Our mission is to enhance access to competitive volleyball for students and the broader community by offering it at an accessible price point. Initially launched in 2023 as an unnamed entity with a single team, G4Volleyball has since expanded to include multiple divisions.

As a club tailored for beginners, our primary focus lies in teaching fundamental skills such as proper form and understanding player rotations. We ensure that players are educated on various positions, allowing them to be placed and play according to their unique abilities and skill levels. To guarantee that all members, especially the newest and those in the process of development, receive substantial playing time, we limit our team sizes to a maximum of 10 players. This approach not only fosters individual growth but also ensures a comprehensive and inclusive training environment.

Audience: Designed for middle school students, providing a blend of competitive play and skill development appropriate for their age. This means level coached is usually averaged between the best and worst players.

Practice Intensity: High intensity, with multiple practices per week plus physical conditioning. Focuses on advanced skill development.

Cost: Generally the most expensive option due to extensive travel, coaching fees, and tournament expenses. Expect to pay one larger fee for a commitment of time and tournaments. The price of clubs while larger at once is still comparative to most REC leagues with far more benefit to the committed player.
